German singer for the jazz rock band Messengers (11). The band was recording at the Hansa studios at the same time as David Bowie recorded his album "Heroes". She sang the backing vocals on the song of the same name and wrote the German lyrics in the middle of the song.
Formed in 1997 in the Catalan region of Spain, Antònia Font were led ( as such ) by guitarist and composer Joan Miquel Oliver, who focused the band's direction by limiting the lyrics not only by subject matter (the future, robots, etc.) but also by dialect, choosing to write in the native dialect of Catalan specific to Majorca, where the band has its real roots. Their first album, Antònia Font, was released in 1999. Despite a few lineup changes, the band has continued unabated, and by 2010 had released five more full-lengths. Antònia Font's 2007 LP, Coser i Cantar, featured an orchestra.
