Puerto Rican foursome Grupo Mattizz comprises four young men delivering tropical music and captivating choreographies. Professional dancer José Miguel aka Mickey (born José Miguel Quiñones) won a national competition called "Juventud Vibra" before joining Grupo Mattizz. Cesar (born Cesar Arnaldo) became involved in music while attending singing and piano classes at a young age. Raymond (born Ramon Daniel) previously participated in Tropico and Grupo Volta-G among other local outfits. Charlie (born Carlos Toro) likes to produce music videos in addition to singing and dancing. The band debuted in 1996 with a self-titled record produced by Bonnie Cepeda. In 2002 Grupo Mania's leading singer Oscar Serrano produced Fuego.
