Spanish sound engineer (b. 1946). He started working in Hispavox in the early 60's up to 1969, he then went to Pye Studios in London in the early 70's. When he returned to Spain in 1975 he became one of the most important Spanish engineers working in Estudios Kirios and Estudios Eurosonic. He founded Musigrama Studios with Joaquín Cobos. He has won 5 Grammy awards; in 2002 with "El corazón de mi gente", from Pepe de Lucía; in 2004 with "Cositas buenas", from Paco de Lucía, and "Lágrimas negras", from Bebo Valdés & Diego ‘El Cigala’; in 2006, with "Bebo", from Bebo Valdés, and in 2008 with "Juntos para siempre" from Bebo & Chucho Valdés.
Bebo & Cigala (Bebo Valdés and Diego El Cigala), two giants of their own style get together in this album to show the warmth of the latin jazz piano supported by a passionate flamenco voice. Clean sound with Spanish, Flamenco and Cuban influences play some classic ‘bolero’ songs.
